HISTORY

Big Chief is a small creative design studio based in the North East of England. After working between London, Amsterdam and Madrid for many years this is our native home once again.

Twenty years of extensive industry know-how as an internationally experienced Art Director / Graphic Designer has seen Big Chief invited onto projects for household names like The National Geographic Society, Tate, Stolen Goat Cycling, Barbour, Perry Ellis America, Denham The Jeanmaker  X James Lavelle and The Andy Warhol Foundation for Visual Arts in New York.

EXPERIENCE

Big Chief has been both privileged and fortunate to have worked alongside many of the most respected creative professionals in the world among which have included Mikael Jansson, Steven Klein, Warren Du Preez & Nick Thornton Jones, Josh Olins, Alasdair Mclellan, Carter Smith and Txema Yeste, and graphic design heroes Tom Hingston and Boy Bastiaens.We have also worked with charities The Joe Strummer Foundation for New Music, Heavy Metal Truants, World Bicycle Relief, PR agency Silverdoor and music nuts Artrocker.

WHAT WE DO

Big Chief are traditionalists. We like print as a media and we love all aspects of pure graphic

design.We will have a crack at most things,

big or small and are happy to pass on our experience to brands, businesses or individuals

at extremely competitive rates.
